Fast with your eyes, from the wicked and impure gaze.
Fast with your ears, from hearing evil and listening behind doors.
Fast with your mouth, from telling lies and deceit.
Fast with your heart, from bad intentions, hatred and envy.
Fast with your hand, from committing murder and theft.
Fast with your body, from communion with someone else’s spouse.
Fast with your knees, from prostrating to Satan and false idols.
Fast with your feet, from going towards something that is not yours.
And God is the Lord of the light, the Generous, the Merciful ad the accepting of repentance.
